Financially secure enough to cover their share of the living costs. It is possible
that people can combine just CPP and OAS resources. That is what we are investigating with this
project. |
| 4. |
Can be single or coupled, but if coupled then both partners must meet all
qualifications. |
| 5. |
Must have no debilitating disease processes needing assisted living. If assisted
living is required then one of the community assisted living options should be chosen
instead. |
| 6. |
Qualified for CPP and OAS and be bringing in about $1,100 a month from those that they
can dedicate to housing. |
| 7. |
Fluent English. |
| 8. |
A valid Canadian Passport. |
| 9. |
No criminal convictions. Must submit to a police check. |
| 10. |
Willing to work in gainful employment (not volunteer work) at least part time.
Possibly two 3 hour shifts four days a week. The purpose of this requirement is to bring in some
extra money for that person. The income generated from this employment must be divided in two with
50% saved for long term care. The rest is spending money. Ask about our Wellness Agent
Commission Plan as an option to earn some extra money. |
